A monday morning physics lesson.

Devilled eggs have a viscous base to them. Combining this viscous base with the smooth surface of a plate can be dangerous. If you do not use a material suitable for containing said eggs on the plate, the first turn out of your cul-de-sac can cause devilled eggs to go everywhere inside your truck. In turn, your truck will stink of devilled eggs the next morning during your drive to work.
